The origins of a dream
It all began in 1968 in Billund, Denmark, when Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, inspired by the success of LEGO bricks, decided to create a dedicated theme park. With the help of his cousin Dagny Holm, a skilled model builder, and decorator Arnold Boutrup, the first Legoland Park was born, a place where both young and old could admire extraordinary constructions and have unique experiences.
The success was immediate: in the first year, the park welcomed over 625,000 visitors, exceeding all expectations

Halloween Event
When autumn approaches and the days start to shorten, Brick or Treat arrives at LEGOLAND Park, the most colorful Halloween party you can imagine. Smiling pumpkins, themed decorations, masked characters, and many activities designed to entertain both young and old without any fear… except the fear of not wanting to leave! The park fills with magic and mystery, transforming into a large “trick or treat” village where even the bricks dress up.
Christmas Event
And then there’s LEGOLAND at Christmas, the most enchanted time of the year. Imagine entire areas of the park illuminated by thousands of lights, Christmas trees made of bricks, and shows that warm the heart even on the coldest days. Children can meet Santa Claus, build Christmas decorations, and experience the magic of the holidays in an atmosphere that smells of hot chocolate and laughter.
LEGO Festival
Throughout the year, LEGOLAND Park never forgets to celebrate what makes it famous worldwide: its legendary bricks. And it does so with the LEGO Festival, an event designed for all fans, from the youngest to the oldest.
